Digital Marketing Intern
The Digital Marketing Intern will be responsible for managing day-to-day online communication efforts, including creating content and updating digital platforms. The Digital Marketing Intern will work directly with Little Pink Monster’s Chief Catalyst Officer and Marketing Advisor.
Key responsibilities for this position:
Daily updates for LPM’s social presence, including Facebook, Twitter, Instagram and Pinterest
Regular (2-4/month) updates for LPM’s website (littlepinkmonster.gallery), including uploading new products, marking changes in inventory and updating the homepage
Regular (2+) blog posts for LPM’s blog, including post-event coverage and profiles of artists
As needed: event photographyWork directly with Marketing Advisor to define social, content, email and web marketing strategies

You will learn about:
Social media management for events, including campaign planning, day-of management and live posting and follow-up
Content strategy and production
Website management, including WordPress and WooCommerce
Analytics and metrics, including website, email and social analytics
Art scene in Austin, including exposure to emerging artists and key leaders in the community
Required Job Skills:
Excellent communication skills
Strong writing & editing skills
Self-starter with initiative and creativity
Positive attitude
Can independently manage own workflow
Ability to work remotely, including technology
Experience with social media in a business contextDesired but not needed: experience with WordPress, MailChimp, Google Analytics, Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator)

About Us:
Little Pink Monster is an art gallery on Austin’s East side, part of the Canopy complex. LPM’s mission is two fold:
1) To support emerging artists and art forms in Austin, TX and2) To raise awareness among the art collector community thus encouraging early investment in artist's careers

Marketing Advisor

LPM’s Marketing Advisor provides guidance on all marketing activities, including e-mail marketing, content strategy, online user experience, search optimization and social media.

Advisor meets monthly with CCO to discuss strategy for that month’s marketing activities and manages the editorial calendar and editorial guidelines. Advisor also meets with Digital Marketing Intern up to twice per month to provide guidance.

As needed, Advisor will provide up to 10 hours per month of production or execution, including updating the site, creating graphics, researching and implementing technology and writing content.
