Hello everyone! 
     This task is a little out of the ordinary, but if you can confidently describe yourself as someone who is tech-savvy this could be the perfect opportunity for you!  We are in the process of transferring over information from one of our old databases to the next!  We need help from someone who is willing to come in for an initial lesson from me on how to navigate the site PetPoint and transfer over information onto a spreadsheet!  However, once you have come into the office for your first lesson you will be free to work on it from the comfort of your own home while also racking up those volunteer hours and helping stop the spread of COVID-19!  We will talk about how this system will work once you sign up for your initial meeting.  You will be helping us transfer incredibly important information about our animals that helps us keep KHS running smoothly and our animals safe.  This event may also be for helping us on any computer related material at the shelter.  Mahalo!

Requirement Details
Wondering if you should register to volunteer? Based on the CDC guidelines, we are asking you the following questions:
  1. Have you been exposed to someone who has been diagnosed with COVID-19? See the CDC’s risk assessment guidance.

  2. Do you have symptoms consistent with COVID-19? Symptoms can include a cough or shortness of breath or at least two of the following: Fever, Chills, Repeated shaking with chills, Muscle pain, Headache, Sore throat, New loss of taste or smell. See the CDC’s symptom information.

If you answered "yes" to any of those questions, we ask you not to register. We are doing all we can to align with best practices and keep our community healthy.
