Broader Considerations of Technology (BCT). BCT, is a new 3-part initiative that aims to address society's rising concerns with advancements in technology. Technology and ethics is more important now than ever, considering the ever-increasing power of technology and technology being more integrated into the fabric of society. To educate more people on technology and how it impacts the human condition, CSEA hosts a lecture series, organizes a regular newsletter, and is planning to host a conference Fall of 2019 to address tech and ethics.
