Cedars Youth Services is dedicated to serving children, youth, and families who have been abused or neglected. Its main concept of service, "Safe & Sound," provides a consistent family-centered, strength-based, intensive, therapeutic system that offers a seamless approach to service delivery. "Safe & Sound" allows staff to focus on developing and maintaining the "safety, stability, and enduring family relationships" for the children, youth and families in its care. Students have the opportunity to lead youth clubs that include academic activities, as well as physical activities for grades K-5, work one-on-one with youth, and assist with children infant-6 years old (reading, rocking, feeding, etc.). Youth clubs run Monday-Friday from 2 p.m.-6 p.m. Early Childhood Development Programs run from Monday-Friday with open hours during 6 a.m.-6 p.m.
