Tonight I had the opportunity to train a new volunteer in the ER. It was a quiet night which was great for showing the new volunteer all of the responsibilities and getting some of the more casual re-stocking type of work done. Overall a successful evening.

Tonight was another very busy night in the ER. I was able to help the staff by cleaning up rooms and moving beds and chairs. I spent about 30 extra minutes beyond my scheduled time because they needed the help! Definitely rewarding to know that I was able to make a difference for the staff so they could spend more time helping patients.
